NetSpark's filtering software (version 2.2 is in production) is presently servicing hundreds of thousands of households and businesses globally. ISPs on every continent are piloting the service or getting ready for full production launch.
The product development roadmap continues to move forward. Recently added features include advanced treatments for Chat and Instant Messaging, with a Personal Information Protection feature next to be added, and advanced treatment of peer to peer and torrent based applications soon to follow. In addition to new features, the product development roadmap includes a number of enhancements to the efficiency and capabilities of the core filtering product. NetSpark is also working with leading academics to enhance its automatic handling of graphics and develop methods for computerized detection of pornographic images.
